When it feels like it is not going to end any time soon

So it has been about 6 months now since we started wearing masks.

It was weird at first, a bit uncomfortable, but we got used to it.

The simplest way to understand this is by hearing my kids saying they wear the mask in the car, even when they don't have to, because they got used to it and it does not really bother them at all - they hardly notice it. WTF?!?!?!

Masks are really a simple thing. They are really important and I wish most people would use them and use them right (if you do not cover your nose you might as well just drop the mask altogether, you moron!!!), but they are the less complicated and burdensome part of this situation.

To me, the most complex part, is the all of a sudden feeling of being stuck in a routine that is not going to end. A routine where there are no holidays, no vacations, no trips abroad to break the day-in/day-out/going-crazy/hamster-wheel monotony of work-chores-work-chores that has become our lives.

And between us, I am among those with the least to complain about!!! I have work, I have a house, I have a great family, I am not missing ANYTHING, we are all healthy, if we need anything you go on the Internet and get it delivered, etc.

But still, most days there is at least one moment when I am about to go crazy.

And it does not look like this is going to end any time soon.
